The hospitalist program also benefits patients who are not hospitalized. They can have piece of mind knowing their doctor is able to devote more time to their office visit without being pulled away for a hospitalized patient.
Our Team
Our inpatient unit is staffed 24 hours a day by hospitalist physicians and a complete support staff to ensure the continuity of care for our patients. These individuals work with your own personal physician to inform them of all major care decisions and discharge summaries made during your stay.
Palliative Care
If you or a loved one are hospitalized with a serious illness, you may wish to seek specialized, medical treatment called palliative care. It is provided by a team of doctors, nurses and other specialists who work with a patient’s other doctors to provide an extra layer of support. Palliative care is appropriate at any age, any stage in an illness and can be provided together with curative treatment.
What to Expect After Your Hospital Stay
After leaving the hospital, you may have questions about your recovery or need additional support. You can stay connected to your care team for up to 30 days after discharge through an easy-to-use app. You will receive a link to download the app via email or text. The app can also be accessed through »ΚΉΪΆΔΗς MyChart.
The app allows you to:
- Ask questions and receive responses from their care team.
- Access educational materials related to their recovery.
- Schedule follow-up appointments.
