Greeter and Escort Team

As a friendly guide, you’ll welcome patients and visitors to the hospital by providing directions, answering questions and escorting people to their destinations on foot or by wheelchair.

Gift Shop Team

On the Gift Shop team, you play a vital role in creating a welcoming experience. You’ll ring up customer purchases, stock and organize merchandise, keep the shop clean and inviting and help manage inventory.

Patient Hospitality Ambassador

These volunteers help make a patient’s stay at the hospital a more pleasant experience. As an ambassador, you’ll provide personal attention in an unhurried manner by performing small but meaningful tasks. These tasks may include passing trays or water, providing a warm blanket, sitting with a patient, assisting with patient discharges, doing environmental rounds, answering the phone, stocking supplies and light cleaning. This helps relieve the nursing staff so as many patients as possible can receive the highest level of individual attention and care. 

Volunteer Requirements

• Meet health requirements (immunizations and vaccinations)
• Pass a background check
• Have a desire to serve others with a listening ear and a loving, caring heart
• Commit to three to four hours per week for a minimum of six months
